What are Test Attempts? keyboard_arrow_down
When a student successfully submits a test, we count it as a Test Attempt. For example, if there are 30 students in your class and they submit 2 tests each, the total number of Test Attempts is 30 x 2 = 60.
The pricing does not individually depend on the number of tests, the duration of the test, the number of questions on the test, etc. Every time a student submits a test, your account balance decreases by 1.

Can I try AutoProctor before I pay for it? keyboard_arrow_down
Yes, when you create an account with us, you get 50 Timer + Proctor Test Attempts, and 50 Timer-only Test Attempts for free. You can evaluate if AutoProctor works for you, and then proceed to subscribe.
-
What if I need more than the number of Test Attempts shown in the cards above? keyboard_arrow_down
Once you become a subscriber, you can always buy more Test Attempts. We call this topping up your subscription. The cost is for 200 Test Attempts.
-
How do I purchase for Multiple Teachers or Accounts? keyboard_arrow_down
If you want multiple users to access the same account, you can do so by purchasing the Premium Subscription. With this, you can create a Team on AutoProctor. You can then add and exclude members from your Team.
If you have a business email ID (for example, one ending with @school.com) and a Premium subscription, all other users whose email IDs end with @school.com can access your account. You can further restrict who within this set of users can access your account via whitelisting and blacklisting users.

What happens to the Test Packs I have already bought? keyboard_arrow_down
If you already have a Test Pack balance, you can continue to use AutoProctor until you finish them. Once you have used up your balance, you must become a subscriber to continue using AutoProctor.

Do the Test Packs from one month carry over to the next? keyboard_arrow_down
Yes, they do. For example, let’s say you had 250 Test Attempts on 1st February. Because your subscription got renewed on 2nd February, it increased to 450 Test Attempts. Say you used only 150 Test Attempts in February. When your subscription is renewed on March 2nd, your account balance will be 450 - 150 + 200 = 500 Test Attempts
-
How can I buy Timer Only Test Packs? keyboard_arrow_down
You don’t need to buy a pack for Timer Only. If you are a subscriber, you can use as many Timer-Only Attempts as you want. You have unlimited Timer-Only Attempts.
-
If I cancel my subscription, do I get the pro-rated amount back? keyboard_arrow_down
No. Let’s say you subscribed on 14th March. You decided to cancel your subscription on 18th March. Even if you cancel it on 18th March, you are eligible to use AutoProctor until 13th April. We will not auto-charge your card on 14th April. That is, for every subscription, you are charged until the end of the billing cycle. There is no pro-rated refund.
-
What happens if my subscription doesn't auto-renew, either due to a payment issue, or because I cancelled it? keyboard_arrow_down
We give you a grace period of 3 days during which you can use AutoProctor normally. After 3 days, if the subscription is still not renewed, you will be unable to access your AutoProctor account. If the account is inactive for more than 14 days, we reset your Test Attempt Balance to 0, but all the data (tests, reports, etc) will still be stored. If the renewal doesn't happen for 2 months, we will delete all the data associated with your account.

I don’t want to use this subscription system. Can I go back to the old system, where I bought test packs whenever I ran out of them? keyboard_arrow_down
Unfortunately, no. We have changed our Pricing model to a subscription-based system. The old system doesn’t exist anymore.
